"A dog looks up to a man. A cat looks down on a man.
But a patient horse looks a man in the eye and sees him as an equal."

Help For Horses
What We Do
SAVER is a 501 c3 non-profit organization created to provided veterinary care to the most underserved equine population in Southern Arizona: State Confiscation Cases. These are horses who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected by previous owners and confiscated by the Animal Cruelty Taskforce here is Southern Arizona. SAVER also helps within the community by taking in potentially adoptable horses with medical issues who are at risk of euthanasia. Our goal is to Rescue, Rehabilitate, and Re-home these horses in order to award them a second chance at life. In congruence with Pegasus Veterinary Center, SAVER provides sanctuary and veterinary care to our rescued herd. Once healthy, our rescues recieve training and rehabilitation with the help of local equine professionals and advocates before finding their forever home.

How You Can Help

SAVER runs entirely on donations from interested and compassionate people like you. Along with direct donations, SAVER puts on various clinics, seminars, and events  dedicated to educating the public with the help of local equine professionals. All proceeds from these events go towards helping the horses in our care. For more information on lectures and events, please see the "Events & Clinics" tab or call 520.505.6175.
